Been a long time...
Seems like a long time I came in here. That can only mean either I'm too busy or that I'm losing steam in writting.
One week of vacation just zoomed past, and before you know it, it's the start of the last week of vacation.
The first week is really like what the "wu sia seow suo" says - ren zhai jiang wu, shen bu ru ji. It was a week filled with attending a conference that I did'nt really choose to attend, but must, because if I did'nt, I would not be up to date with technology issues in pharma. The second half of the week also zoomed past with a FM quiz. Hmm, this time round, students did well for the MCQ, but floundered with the short answer Q. Also I had to "cover" duty for my colleagues.
This coming week, I'll be on leave. Intend to see ocean 13. Is it as good as ocean 11?
Have been trying to read a book that my son borrowed. It's about the SAS in Sudan. Unfortunately the language used in the book is just too foul. Cannot bring myself to continue reading.
My 2 projects in Choa Chu Kang is moving slowly. Too slowly for the industrial partner. But it seems to quick for the students.
I have been reprimanded for having too high an expectation of my students. Why? I complained to a friend that my students do not know how to change a 3 pin plug. Do you know how to? I thought everybody should know how to do it! But I must report sadly that the truth is - not many youngsters are interested in knowing how to change a 3 pin plug. If you are reading this blog, tell me your honest opinion. I'll change my perception.
